King Falafel Grill returning to Greenwood

by | Jun 17, 2010

King Falafel Grill abruptly closed last year, and the owner of the restaurant that took its space at Greenwood and 81st, Aloha Ramen, told us King Falafel’s owner had moved back to Egypt. But, that’s apparently not the case, because King Falafel Grill is reopening in the space next to Chocolati Cafe, at 8317 Greenwood Ave. N.
PhinneyWood tipster Mike Veitenhans sent us this photo of owner Ahmed Asfour (on the right), taking a break from working on the new restaurant this morning.

Asfour told Mike he hopes to open in time for the huge Greenwood Car Show on Saturday, June 26.
