Greenwood Food Bank needs volunteers to help it move

The Volunteers of America Community Resource Center, which will include the Greenwood Food Bank, is looking for volunteers to help with the move from the old food bank at 9747 Greenwood Ave. N. to its new, larger building at 9041 Greenwood Ave. N.

The new Greenwood Food Bank will be in the old Artcraft Printing Company building.

The grand opening celebration of the Community Resource Center is from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 11. The Center will house the Greenwood Food Bank, Senior Companion Program and Supported Living Program for adults with disabilities. The grand opening features refreshments, live music, art from community members and Volunteers of America clients, and a short program at 6:30 p.m.
