Rosewood Guitar tears down small building, main building to open in February

by | Jan 28, 2010

Rosewood Guitar at 8402 Greenwood Ave. N., which suffered extensive damage from the Nov. 5 arson, had to tear down their small building that previously housed the teaching studios.

Here’s what Rosewood’s Bill Clements tells us:

Restoration work on our main store is moving along pretty well now. We expect to be reopen mid to late February. The smaller building that we used for teaching studios suffered extensive smoke and structural damage and could not be practically saved.
We hope to rebuild new and expanded teaching studios and are working with contractors on bids and designs. However, it will likely be a year or more before construction is complete.
The community has been great and it really feels like everyone has bonded after the series of tragedies that struck the Greenwood neighborhood.

Since the arson, Rosewood has been teaching students inside neighboring Cobblestone Used Furniture.
