MyBallard reports that the house that used to be Il Giardino Italian restaurant at 716 NW 65th St. in southern Phinney/east Ballard, will soon be an orchid shop. Emerald City Orchids will sell the flowers, plus pots, soil and books. They hope to open this Thursday.
