Gorditos celebrates 15 years in Greenwood

by | Dec 11, 2009

Gorditos Healthy Mexican Food at 213 N 85th St. is celebrating 15 years in Greenwood this month. On Sunday, stop in and get 15% off all food and drinks (even beer.) And they’ll be selling limited edition T-shirts proclaiming “Fifteen Years of Baby-Sized Burritos.”

You may recall, Gorditos was featured on an episode of KING 5’s “Evening Magazine” last year, where they compared the size of a real baby to one of their massive burritos.
Co-owner Marlene sent us pictures of when they were getting ready to open back in 1994 in the old Eleanor Roosevelt Building, across the street from their current location.

Update: Marlene tells us the men’s and women’s black “baby-sized burrito” T-shirts are $10, and the hoodies are $17.
