New neighborhood blog follows crime

by | Oct 17, 2009

We just found a new neighborhood blog that’s designed specifically to combat crime from N. 80th to N. 85th streets and from Greenwood to Aurora avenues. Greenwood Neighbor asks people to post information on suspicious activity, drug deals, car break-ins, etc.

It is intended to be a forum for neighbors to help keep track of suspicious activity, such as loitering and likely drug dealing; and known criminal acts, such as burglaries, car prowls and other police activity in our area. By making this information available throughout the neighborhood, we hope we will be more able to “connect-the-dots” on what activity is happening and where.

To have your information included on Greenwood Neighbor, just email the info – and pictures if you have them – and the site’s administrator will post it.
