‘Wild Things’ benefit raises $47K for 826 Seattle

Last week’s sold-out pre-screening of “Where the Wild Things Are” raised $47,000 for Greenwood’s non-profit writing and tutoring center, 826 Seattle, Seattlest reports.
The money will be used to support 826 Seattle’s after-school tutoring, writing workshops and field trips for children ages 6-18. 826 Seattle also raises money through its storefront, Greenwood Space Travel Supply Co.
