Monthly Greenwood-Phinney artwalk Friday

Friday night is the monthly Art-Up Greenwood-Phinney artwalk, with two dozen local businesses hosting artists from various mediums, from music to photography to painting.
Washington Wilderness Coalition at 305 N. 83rd St. is hosting award-winning nature photographer Jon Cornforth. Wayward Coffeehouse has henna art, encaustic wax art and live music. PlayMatters at 7720 Greenwood Ave. N. is offering a 10% discount for child care during the artwalk (must make arrangements 24 hours in advance). The Pig & Whistle at 8412 Greenwood Ave. N. has paintings by Jesse Logocki. Balderdash Books & Art at 8536 Greenwood Ave. N. features the works of impressionistic oil painter Ethan Jack Harrington, and you can meet author Bruce Taylor of “Bizzaro Fiction.”
Bleachers Pub at 8118 Greenwood Ave. N. is offering discounted appetizers and entrees during the artwalk, Carmelita at 7314 Greenwood Ave. N. is offering $5 artisal cocktails, and Garpare Ristorante & Bar at 6705 Greenwood Ave. N. has a three-course Italian meal for $22.
