Phinney winemaker creates Flying Dreams

Leroy Radford is a Phinney Ridge resident who makes his own wine through his Flying Dreams label. Billing it as “artisanal winemaking,” Radford is holding a release party on Sunday for Flying Dreams’ first wines: 2006 Malbec – Wahluke Slope; 2007 Cabernet Franc – Stillwater Creek; and 2007 Cabernet Franc Reserve – Stillwater Creek. He’ll also be pouring barrel samples of his 2008 Tempranillo and 2008 Monastrell/Syrah.
The release party is from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday at the Little Red Studio, 400 Dexter Ave. N. Hors d’oeuvres will be served. The public is invited; make your reservations here.
