Greenwood Boys & Girls Club celebrates award

by | Sep 2, 2009

We told you last week about the Greenwood Boys & Girls Club receiving a Neighborhood Matching Fund award of $80,000 to create a new community entry plaza. We finally got our hands on a few pictures from the event (thanks, Kate!).
Here’s artist Greg Young working on a ground mural for the awards event. The mural says “Community Plaza Coming Soon.”

Here are three children from the club who will benefit from the new plaza.

And here’s Lauren Goldstein (left), K-5 Director at the club, along with Crystal Barnard (right), Chair of the Carfree Club Entry and Community Plaza Steering Committee.

Congratulations to the Greenwood Boys & Girls Club!
