Police search for car theft suspects

by | Jul 10, 2009

What started as police spotting a stolen car ended up as a search of the Greenwood neighborhood last night after the suspects ditched the car near Phinney Avenue North and North 85th Street.

Three people jumped out of the car and police quickly arrested a woman and found one man a short time later, according to KING 5 TV. Because there was a gun found in the car, police feared the third suspect was armed as well, hence the heavy police presence – including a circling helicopter – which Patrick and Lise tipped us about in e-mail.

There’s more information on the SPD Blotter.

Thanks, Patrick and Lise. If you have a news tip, send it to us at [email protected].
