Seattle Fire Department gets a blog

by | Jul 7, 2009

The Seattle Fire Department has just launched its own blog, the Fire Line, which will cover a sample of significant incidents, including fire and emergency medical responses, technical rescues and hazardous materials responses.

The Seattle Fire Department responds to hundreds of fire and medical emergencies in the City of Seattle every day. The Fire Line will also cover fire prevention and safety information, firefighter drills, special events and other items of general interest.

Fire Line is similar to Seattle Police Department’s Blotter, which has press releases on significant events in each precinct in the city. Add to that the Fire Department’s Real Time 911 log, and you’ll know pretty much everything that’s happening around town.
