Zoo gets baby T-Rex

by | Apr 14, 2009

No they haven’t unlocked dino DNA, ala “Jurassic Park.” An animatronic replica of a young Tyranosaurus Rex is visiting the Zoomasium from 2-3:30 p.m., Wednesday. It’s a promo for the Walking with Dinosaurs show running April 29-May 3 at Key Arena.

A ticket discount offer will be available during the dino’s appearance, as well as a chance to win tickets to the show. We heard about this one via @woodlandparkzoo on Twitter.

Guess we’ll just have to wait for more scientific advances before the zoo gets the live dinosaur exhibit.
