Homeless Needs Assessment volunteers needed

by | Apr 6, 2009

The city and the county are pairing with United Way of King County and the UW for a Homeless Needs Assessment on the night of Monday, April 13. Teams of three volunteers will spread out across the city and speak with every person they see to determine if they are homeless and to better understand the barriers they face to finding permanent housing.
The assessment will happen from 8 p.m. – midnight next Monday. Volunteer teams consist of one team leader and two team members. Each team member must attend training sessions happening this week. Five hundred volunteers are needed.
For more information, contact Dylan, Volunteer Coordinator, at 206-684-8119 or email [email protected]. To register, go to the Homeless Needs Assessment website.
