Monthly Art Up/Open Up art walk is Friday night

Friday night marks the third installment of Greenwood-Phinney’s new monthly art walk, Art Up/Open Up, from 6-9 p.m. Various businesses throughout the neighborhood will stay open late and host artists from many different mediums, and some will offer special discounts.
There’s nature photography at Balderdash Books at 8536 Greenwood Ave. N., sci-fi themed oil paintings at Chocolati at 8319 Greenwood Ave. N., Valentine’s Day card sketchings at Metropolis at 7321 Greenwood Ave. N., hand-woven Tibetan carpets at Pema Kharpo at 8554 Greenwood Ave. N., and portraits of children in Southeast Asia at Strut at 7511 Greenwood Ave. N., to name just a few.
