Neighborhood one of “most promising” for business

by | Nov 7, 2008

This month’s issue of Seattle Business Monthly has a feature on several up-and-coming neighborhoods that are creating lots of jobs, such as South Lake Union. The issue also lists 27 “most promising neighborhoods to do business in” – including Greenwood/Phinney.
The magazine cites our 12 percent job growth, office lease rates of $23.55, and 24 percent of our population with bachelor’s degrees. It also liked our close-knit community feeling, walkabiity and access to bus lines.
Among those promising business neighborhoods are our close neighbors of Ballard, Fremont and Magnolia.
