Help out on ‘Green Seattle Day’ this Saturday

by | Nov 6, 2008

Nineteen Seattle parks will be getting a little love and care this Saturday as part of Green Seattle Day. All the parks, including Carkeek Park at the north end of Greenwood, needs volunteers to help plant, mulch and otherwise clean up from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Seward Park is the hub site, with more than 300 volunteers scheduled to work there.
Volunteers should wear work clothes and sturdy shoes/boots and bring a water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided. Sign up for a specific park here.
