Greenwood Park P-Patch proposal

A P-Patch/community garden could replace one of two vacant lots on the east side of Greenwood Park on Fremont Avenue.

Seattle Parks and Recreation and the Department of Neighborhoods is holding a public meeting 7 p.m., Nov. 3. at the Greenwood Senior Center to discuss the proposal for the park located at 602 N. 87th St. More meeting details in events.

The city owns the two lots and intends to incorporate them into the park.

The project is being done in conjunction with the Department of Neighborhoods’ P-Patch Program and the not-for-profit P-Patch Trust, which provides organic community garden space for residents of 70 Seattle neighborhoods.
