Final Allusia moving sale, new location named

by | Oct 12, 2008

Allusia is holding a final, all prices slashed sale this weekend in preparation for moving to their new digs three blocks to the north.

The “unique home decor & giveables” store will share space with … SPACE, A Design-Build Collective, in the old Pelayo Antiques building at 7601 Greenwood Ave. N.

Allusia’s owner, Jimi Lou Steambarge, says she’s tentatively hoping to reopen Nov. 1. The news reminds us we’ve been meaning to mention SPACE, because they recently branched out into the retail business, adding some home décor items for sale, primarily furniture and art – most on consignment.

Seems like a nice pairing of remodel design consultants with a store that can put the finishing touches on the decor.

And speaking of decor, Allusia will be open from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday in their current location, 7225 Greenwood Ave. N., with sales up to 60 percent off.
