Phinney Center’s Capital Campaign passes $3 million mark

by | Aug 13, 2008

The Phinney Neighborhood Association tells us they’ve passed the $3.1 million mark in their Capital Campaign to purchase the property from the Seattle School District and remodel the entire site at Phinney Avenue North and North 67th Street.
The campaign is still technically in the “quiet phase” – meaning they’re mostly meeting one-on-one with big donors before going public with the big push. The PNA needs about $12 million to purchase the property and complete the remodel – which will add a lovely new entry, make the buildings ADA-accessible, redo the playgrounds and add some great landscaping and walking paths.
If you’re interested in getting on board early as a donor – and no amount is too small, Director of Development Ann Bowden says – contact Ann.
