Greenwood Community Council election forum Oct. 18 at Taproot Theatre

The Greenwood Community Council is hosting an election forum from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Taproot Theatre, 204 N. 85th St.

The forum will be moderated by former Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn (a Greenwood resident), and will cover the race for District 7 U.S. House of Representatives and Sound Transit 3:

  • 7-7:10 p.m.: Welcome and Introductions
  • 7:10-7:50 p.m.: District 7 U.S. House of Representatives candidates Pramila Jayapal and Brady Walkinshaw (including audience Q&A)
  • 7:50-8:30 p.m. – Sound Transit 3 (including audience Q&A), with representatives the Yes and No campaigns confirmed to attend
  • 8:30-9 p.m.: Informal networking
