Second Design Review recommendation meeting for Phinney Flats project at 6726 Greenwood Ave. N. is Sept. 26

The Northwest Design Review Board will hold its second Recommendation Meeting for the Phinney Flats project at 6726 Greenwood Ave. N. at 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, at Ballard Community Center, 6020 28th Ave. NW, in the Sunset/Captain Ballard Room.

A previous recommendation meeting was held on Aug. 1. According to the Design Review Board’s report from that meeting, Board members decided there were too many unresolved issues to discuss, so they added this second recommendation meeting.

Phinney Flats would demolish the building currently housing Stumbling Goat Bistro (which recently closed) and Ed’s Kort Haus, and replace it with a four-story building containing 55 small efficiency dwelling units above two live/work units and 2,900 square feet of commercial space. No parking will be provided, but the project will have 23 bicycle spaces.

You can email comments on site planning and design issues through Sept. 26 to [email protected].
