by | Jun 13, 2016

Phinney Neighborhood Chorus is performing its annual concert to raise money for a school in Haiti at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Phinney Lutheran Church, 7500 Phinney Ave. N.

The concert is free with all donations going to the George Marcellus School in Haiti. Last year’s concert raised $7,620 – enough to cover the school’s entire budget for one year.

The chorus has raised more than $60,000 for two Haiti schools in the last 12 years. The chorus’s motto is “Sing local, act global.”
