Phinney Ridge Community Council meets next Tuesday to discuss Design Review, development

The Phinney Ridge Community Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the Phinney Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., to discuss the city’s Design Review program, developments in the pipeline, and housing policies.
On the agenda:

  • Update on the city’s Design Review process
  • Development permits status, including 7009 Greenwood Ave. N. and 6726 Greenwood Ave. N.
  • Discussion of the city’s Housing Affordability Livability Agenda and policies on backyard cottages.

The PRCC also is seeking board nominations for its May 3 Annual Election. Responsibilities include attending council meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. Board members must live or own property or a business between Aurora Avenue North and 8th Avenue NW and North 46th Street and North 75th Street.
