Help Seattle Clean Street Collective clean up trash from Aurora Avenue

by | Feb 26, 2016

Some neighbors are taking matters into their own hands to clean up trash on sidewalks and streets. The Seattle Clean Street Collective is a volunteer group that will launch its pilot trash pickup program at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, at the Aurora Commons, 8914 Aurora Ave. N. The group will clean up for about two hours along Aurora Avenue from North 90th Street to about North 105th Street.

They’ll provide coffee and doughnuts, as well as necessary equipment (trash grabbers, gloves, trash bags, etc.). However, if you have an extra pair of gloves and trash grabbers, you’re encouraged to bring them.

If you’re interested in participating, email The Seattle Clean Street Collective at [email protected] to be added to their contact list. And you can follow them on Facebook.
