The restaurant is finishing up its Kickstarter campaign this weekend with an oyster and champagne celebration from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday at Chocolat Vitale, a few blocks east at 6257 3rd Ave. NW.

Joli will have seating for 52, plus 10 at the bar, with an open kitchen, exposed architectural details and rotating art displays.

Industry veterans Christopher Yamka (Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge, Bastille Cafe & Bar, Local 360) and Camille Yamka (Monsoon, Terra Plata, Roux) have partnered with neighborhood business owners Janet Eicher and Cameron Johnston (Chocolat Vitale) to bring downtown dining to the NW 65th Street corridor.

The menu at joli will reflect French, Italian and Mediterranean influences with a nod to the Riviera. Chef Amy Beaumier (Bell + Whete, Local 360, Dragonfish Asian Cafe) is committed to creating elevated food with high quality ingredients. To accompany the food, joli will feature French and local wines, house made pastries, and artisan chocolate.
