Northwest Center Kids moving to Greenwood this summer

by | Jul 2, 2014

Northwest Center Kids is moving from North Queen Anne Elementary, where it’s been for the last 28 years, to the Salvation Army building in Greenwood this summer after losing its lease from Seattle Public Schools.

Northwest Center Kids offers early childhood education, Early Intervention and after-school and summer day camps to children from six weeks old to age 12. The program combines children with developmental disabilities and typically developing children.

The Salvation Army will lease classroom space at 9501 Greenwood Ave. N. to the program for the next three years while it looks for a permanent home.

Northwest Center Kids will provide services through Aug. 27 at the Queen Anne location, then will reopen in Greenwood on Sept. 3.
