School auction, live music for kids and adults, PNA potluck in Greenwood-Phinney this weekend

St. John’s School auction is tonight and Saturday night at 120 N. 79th St. Check out their website for all the info on Friday’s carnival street fair and Saturday’s 1920’s gala.
Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., presents Jazz First Fridays with New Ronin 4 at 7:30 p.m. tonight; and Roo & The Few, Drew Nitchoff, Barry Whittle, Mark Goldberg — Songwriters In Seattle Monthly Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Bring a favorite appetizer or drink to share with friends and neighbors at the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s Happy Hour Potluck and Orientation, at 6532 Phinney Ave N., from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday. Learn more about PNA programs and activities and how to get involved.
Kindiependent rocker Caspar Babypants plays two shows at Ridge Romp at the PNA on Saturday. The 10:30 a.m. show is already sold out, but you can still buy tickets for the 12:30 p.m. show at Brown Paper Tickets. If it’s not sold out, tickets also will be available at the door. Cost is $5 ($6.17 with the online service fee).
Taproot Theatre continues its run of “In the Book Of” through April 26.
Seattle School Boardmember Sherry Carr’s regularly scheduled meeting at Bethany Community Church at Green Lake has been rescheduled from Saturday to April 12.
Seattle Folklore Society’s Saturday concert featuring Gordon Bok and Carol Rohl is sold out.
