Santoro’s Books at 7405 Greenwood Ave. N. is for sale. Owner Carol Santoro tells us the sale is only for the inventory inside the store, plus fixtures and software, but does not include the name. The store’s lease ends on May 31, and she chose not to renew it.
Santoro will continue running her wholesale business providing books to school classrooms and libraries. That business will retain the Santoro’s Books name.

For Sale: Santoro’s Books in north Seattle. This nine-year old, 1200 square foot store is located in a supportive neighborhood next to one of our most popular restaurants. We currently sell new books only with very few sidelines. Annual retail sales are about $300,000 to $315,000. The selling price is the wholesale value of the inventory, approximately $35,000 to $40,000. The owner is keeping the store name and the outside, wholesale business.
