Ugly Christmas Sweater Pub Crawl raises over $900 for Greenwood Food Bank

by | Dec 16, 2013

TheĀ 2nd annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Pub Crawl through Phinney Ridge and Greenwood on Dec. 7 raised $972 and more than 100 pounds of canned/boxed food for the Greenwood Food Bank.
From organizer Tim Arnot of Tim’s Tavern:

A special thanks to everyone who attended the event by donating the $20 for the wristband, Bleacher’s Pub for donating $200, Sully’s Snowgoose Tavern for donating $100, Tim’s Tavern for donating $100, and to the twenty pubs participating with discounted drinks for the pub crawlers and helping to collect food and wristband money. A shout out also to our photographer Roman Rivera, and volunteers on the trolley-Cat Long and Greg Gibson! Let’s do this again next year Greenwood and make an even bigger donation. Put this on your calendars now, spread the word to your friends, and contact Tim if you would like to help out with next year’s planning and promoting!
