Road crews will close eastbound 85th Street between 3rd Avenue NW and Greenwood Avenue North on Tuesday and Wednesday to replace concrete panels at Palatine Avenue North. This is part of the final wrap-up work of last year’s repaving of 85th from Ballard to I-5.
The road closure will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday and last through Wednesday evening, weather permitting.
Traffic will be detoured to North 80th Street via 3rd Avenue NW and Greenwood Avenue North. One westbound lane will remain open. Police officers will assist traffic. Drivers should expect delays through that area.
Eastbound Metro buses will be detoured to North 90th Street;Â westbound buses will remain on North 85th Street.
