Kalbi Grill Express reopens

October 23rd, 2012 · Comments

Kalbi Grill Express at 8202 Greenwood Ave. N. has reopened, nearly four months after closing when a car accidentally crashed through the front door. Kalbi had opened just two weeks before the crash.

Jeanna Lee from Kalbi tells me they had their “soft” reopening last Friday. Current hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The Korean restaurant’s menu includes items such as Kalbi (marinated beef short ribs), Bulgogi (marinated beef), Bibimbap (rice, vegetables, meat, and a fried egg), and Soondubu (soft tofu soup).

    Awesome news! Glad to see that you guys were able to re-open!

    I plan on checking this place out soon. I was on my way to try it, on the day of the accident. I walked up there, saw an SUV inside of the store and said, “Well, that figures, doesn’t it?”

    I’m glad everyone was okay, and that we have some more interesting options for food in the neighborhood.

    We happened to go on Friday.

    Vegetarian bibimbap = excellent
    Bulgogi = excellent
    Soondubu = very yummy

    People = very courteous and patient with Korean food novices.

    We recommend, and will definitely be back.

    So glad they’re open again. We went before the accident and everything was really good. It’s great to be able to get Korean food so close instead of driving to Lynnwood. Yea!
