‘Little Free Library’ pops up in Phinney

by | Oct 3, 2012

The Little Free Library phenomenon is catching on all over the country, and now we’ve spotted our first one in Phinney Ridge. This is on North 73rd Street, just west of Ken’s Market.

The idea of a Little Free Library is to promote a love of reading by letting neighbors exchange books. The official Little Free Library website has all kinds of information about how to build and maintain your own library, using new or repurposed materials. You can also buy a ready-made library structure, from the very simple to an elaborate British phone box model.

If anyone knows of any other Little Free Libraries in Greenwood or Phinney Ridge, please let us know in Comments or by email.
