Christ the King students raise money for Cle Elum wildfire victims

by | Sep 11, 2012

Students from Christ the King Catholic School in Broadview, just north of Greenwood, started off the school year with a service project to raise money for victims of this summer’s Cle Elum wildfires.
The Student Council organized a baked goods and crafts sale, and raised more than $200 for the Red Cross.
Hudson Patterson, CKS Student Council Service Chair, said in a press release, “Since Cle Elum had a fire, we felt we should raise money to help them. It felt good to help people in need.”
