The Chocolate Shoe Box at 7410 Greenwood Ave. N. is participating in the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale this weekend.
Funds from The Chocolate Shoe Box will go to Precious Life Animal Sanctuary in Sequim, which takes in abused and neglected animals from factory farm conditions, or those that have been abandoned, and Action for Animals, a Seattle-based charity that provides education about animals in factory farm conditions, circuses and abused situations, and promotes a vegan lifestyle.
The bake sale runs from 12-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
