by | Mar 29, 2012

Wahe Guru Yoga has opened next door to Yanni’s Greek Restaurant at 7415 Greenwood Ave. N.

It offers Kundalini yoga and meditation classes. Beginning in mid-April it also will offer a parent-and-baby yoga class, as well as yoga for children ages 8-12.
Co-owner Frytz Fatehpal Mor and his wife, Yana Hari Baldev, are the teachers. They have a third partner who lives in Los Angeles. All three are internationally certified teachers.
From Mor:

The mantra Wahe Guru (pronounced: Whaa Hay – Gooroo) is the infinite teacher of the soul. It expresses the indescribable experience of going from darkness into light. It balances the energies of generating, organizing, and transforming principles. It expresses ecstasy through knowledge and experience. It is the gurmantra, which triggers the destiny.

Wahe Guru’s current class schedule includes Sadhana at 4 a.m. Monday-Sunday; Kundalini Yoga & Meditation at 6:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, at 12 p.m. on Monday and Friday, and 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Mor tells us their website – www.waheguruyoga.com – should be up in a few days. Their phone is 206-783-WAHE (9243).
