Live music, health classes, Spanish Story Time and theater in Greenwood-Phinney this weekend

Lots of live music, plus health and art classes, Spanish story time and more in the neighborhood this weekend. Here are a few highlights from our Events calendar.

At Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Café, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., 3 Play Ricochet performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday; and Pint & Dale perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Both are free, with food and drinks available for purchase.

It’s opening weekend for Taproot Theatre’s production of “Freud’s Last Session,” an imagined conversation between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis.

Rhea Healing Essentials at 121 N. 85th St. is hosting two free classes, $5 chair massages and raffles from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. “Spring Clean the Body and Mind” with Lori Burden, LMP is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; learn more about the mind/body connection and how it can lead to better health. “Spring Cleaning with Seasonal Vegetables” with Tim Knight C.N., LA.c is from 1-2 p.m.; a short talk and cooking demonstration showing how to support your liver and detoxify your body.

Spanish Story Time at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Greenwood Library, 8016 Greenwood Ave. N.

Art on the Ridge, 8005 Greenwood Ave. N., is hosting an Adult Drawing Class from 2:30-4 p.m. Saturday.

Tracy Grammer performs a Seattle Folklore Society concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in the Brick Building. Admission is $16, $2 off for SFS and PNA members and seniors, $8 for children. You can buy tickets at the door, reserve online, or call 206-528-8523.

Mäd Fiddlu is performing a live CD recording of Scandinavian music starting at 8 p.m. Saturday at Empty Sea Studios, 6300 Phinney Ave. N. Tickets are $12 advance, $15 at the door.
