Stuf Consignment moving into Phinney Ridge

by | Mar 1, 2012

Stuf Consignment is opening in the lower floor of the building at 7200 Greenwood Ave. N. The furniture and décor consignment shop will feature vintage and modern items.

Stuf, co-owned by Karna Monaghan and Dwayne Edwards, opens Saturday morning at 11.
Monaghan and Edwards both used to live in Phinney Ridge several years ago. He now lives in Sunset Hill and she lives in Blue Ridge, but they’ve always been attracted to Phinney.
“It held a special place in our hearts,” Edwards said. “It’s such a great, walkable neighborhood. We saw the resurgence, the revitalization after the remodel of Ken’s, the remodel of the fire house, so we thought, we’re going to just keep our eyes open.”

Monaghan, an interior designer and home stager, also works at Dania. Edwards was a founder and managing partner at BalMar in Ballard, and loves to collect furniture.
“I like to call myself a collector who has no taste and no eye! They’re just things that I like,” he said. “We think it’s the ultimate in recycling. These are treasures and they’re wonderful.”

The dog in the big red chair is not for sale. That’s Abby, who will spend most days at the store, soaking up customers’ love.
Stuf will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 12-5 p.m. on Sunday. Send consignment requests by email with photos attached to: [email protected].
