Greenwood assault suspect charged with rape, kidnapping, held on $1 million bail

Our news partners The Seattle Times reports that 24-year-old Jose Jimenez-Lopez was charged by King County Prosecutors yesterday with rape in the first degree, kidnapping in the first degree and attempted kidnapping in the first degree, following the alleged abduction of a 20-year-old woman from a Greenwood street last week.
He is being held on $1 million bail in the King County Jail. Police also suspect that Jimenez-Lopez was involved in three armed robberies, and he was rebooked on possible immigration charges.
