Scenes from 60th Greenwood Seafair Parade

by | Jul 29, 2010

We took over 100 photos at last night’s 60th annual Greenwood Seafair Parade and we wish we could post most of them, but that would eat up all our bandwith. So here are just a few of the many parade entries.
The Seattle Police Department motorcycle drill team led off the main parade.

Followed by the presentation of colors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 40.

Mayor Mike McGinn, a Greenwood resident, waves to the crowd.

Two of the many clowns throughout the parade.

Parade Grand Marshals The Coats sing the national anthem in front of the judges’ stand.

The Greenwood Knights Car Club shows off their sweet rides.

Mexican Dancing Horses.

You write your own caption for this sheepdog and his owner.

This drill team is still smiling after marching for an hour.

The Pacific Northwest Drumline.

And here’ the cutest kid ever, working the crowd.

The parade was sponsored by the Greenwood-Phinney Chamber of Commerce and 27 local businesses (including PhinneyWood).
