Couth Buzzard flying back to Greenwood!

by | Aug 29, 2009

Couth Buzzard, the beloved used bookstore that closed last year after 20 years next to Ken’s Market on Greenwood Avenue and 73rd, is reopening two doors down from the post office, at 8310 Greenwood Ave. N.
I noticed a hand-written sign on the door yesterday, and one of the building’s co-owners just confirmed it. “Yes, 8310 has been rented to a familiar tenant; it’s Couth Buzzard Books and they’re also going to put a coffee shop in there,” Brian Leitch said late this afternoon. “They’re really nice people.”
Espresso Buono Cafe will be sharing the space with Couth Buzzard. Espresso Buono currently has a cafe in Lynnwood. They hope to open Nov. 1.
The space next door to the new Couth Buzzard is still available, Leitch said. The space at 8312 is 1,256 square feet, and the asking rate is $17 per square foot. If you’re interested, call him at 206-276-0310 or 425-774-9626.
