Just what’s going on with McDonald’s?

by | Jul 13, 2008

According to a nearby business owner, the defunct McDonald’s on Greenwood Avenue was supposed to be torn down and replaced by a new development.

Go by the building now, however, and you’ll see fresh 2x4s altering the roof line and a stack of plywood used for sheathing. An employee at the neighboring Romio’s said they’re surprised as well, since they too heard it would be torn down. In any case, the building is still covered with graffiti.

Update: Marty comments that the owner is now trying to lease it out for a couple years before tearing it down.
